Project Context
Working with the British Council allowed us to deliver high-quality visual content that highlighted the organization's dedication to education and cultural exchange. Our role encompassed event coverage, interview documentation, and post-production work, showcasing the essence of each occasion while addressing challenges such as low lighting, vast venue spaces, and tight deadlines.
Our strategic approach to lighting, team coordination, and agile editing processes enabled us to produce content that resonated with audiences, reinforcing the British Council's impactful initiatives.
The objective in 2025 was to document British Council's international collaborations and cultural gatherings. We focused on capturing the vibrancy and significance of each event while adapting to dynamic shooting conditions, from hybrid video-photography setups to extended timelapse coverage.
Pop-Up Study UK

Challenge
- Managing hybrid shooting, both video and photo, as a one-person team during the UK, Malaysia, Jiangsu Higher Education Forum.
- Capturing the dynamic atmosphere during the three-day Study UK Pop-Up event, including setup and dismantle timelapse at midnight.
- Documenting the BC Study UK Alumni Gala 2025, including long-duration speeches and a modern dance performance.
Solution
- Used hybrid shooting techniques for solo coverage.

Result
Our work in 2025 demonstrated flexibility and efficiency, particularly in handling solo hybrid shoots and long-duration timelapse documentation. The British Council valued our dedication to capturing both large-scale interactions and individual expressions. Our ability to adapt to diverse event settings reinforced our reputation for reliable event coverage.

- Low lighting and tall ceilings during the outdoor night shoot at the British Council 75th Anniversary Launch, making it difficult to bounce flash.
- Capturing the energy and atmosphere of the Alumni UK Symposium, a large event with 500 attendees in a spacious hall.

- Used portable LED lighting with soft diffusers for low-light environments.
